What does it cost to buy property in Dubai?+
Beyond the purchase price, budget roughly 4% Dubai Land Department transfer fee, AED 3,000 to 5,000 in admin and trustee fees, and 2% agency commission on ready resales. On off-plan bought from the developer our commission is paid by the developer, and there is no annual property tax anywhere in the UAE.
Can I buy without travelling to the UAE?+
Yes. Off-plan reservations are routinely signed remotely: the reservation form and sale agreement are executed digitally, payments go to the project's regulated escrow account by bank transfer, and if a personal appearance is ever needed a power of attorney covers it. A large share of our buyers complete their first purchase before their first visit.
Which purchase qualifies for the 10-year Golden Visa?+
Property worth AED 2M or more, including off-plan and mortgaged purchases, can qualify you for the renewable 10-year Golden Visa covering your spouse and children. We flag qualifying stock on every page of this directory and can handle the application end to end.
How safe is off-plan money in the UAE?+
In Dubai every buyer payment must go into a RERA-supervised escrow account under Law 8 of 2007, and the developer can only draw funds against certified construction progress. Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah run equivalent escrow regimes. The real risk to manage is delay and developer quality, which is exactly what we advise on.
